Old Testament prophets such as Amos, Isaiah, Zephaniah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, are called the classical prophets. Their messages were first spoken aloud to either a rebellious Northern Israel (the Ten Tribes) or to an apostate Jerusalem and Judah (the Two Tribes).
